Overview

Vonage (formerly Nexmo) is a cloud communications provider through which you can provision SIP numbers for SalesFrank. The connection is made via a SIP trunk configured in your SalesFrank account.

Requirements

  • An active Vonage account with an assigned phone number
  • Access to the Vonage Developer Console
  • SalesFrank account with permission to add phone numbers

Step by Step

1

Provision a Vonage number

Log in to the Vonage Developer Console and go to Numbers → Your Numbers. Purchase or select a number you want to use with SalesFrank.

Configure inbound calls

Assign a Voice Application to the Vonage number that forwards incoming calls to your SIP endpoint. This is done via Voice → Your Applications in the Vonage Console.
4

Add SIP Trunk in SalesFrank

Go to Phone Numbers → Add Number → SIP Trunk in SalesFrank and enter the SIP URI, username and password from step 2.
