Overview

Telnyx is a carrier-grade communications provider with its own global network infrastructure. Integration with SalesFrank is done via a SIP trunk (Telnyx Mission Control Portal).

Requirements

  • An active Telnyx account with an assigned phone number
  • Access to the Telnyx Mission Control Portal
  • SalesFrank account with permission to add phone numbers

Step by Step

Provision a Telnyx number

Log in to the Telnyx Mission Control Portal. Go to Numbers → Buy Numbers and purchase a number – or use an existing one.

Create a SIP Connection

Navigate to Voice → SIP Trunking → SIP Connections and create a new connection. Select type Credentials (username/password). Note the SIP URI (sip.telnyx.com), username and password.

Assign number to the connection

Go to Numbers → Phone Numbers and click on the desired number. Under Voice, assign the number to the SIP Connection created in step 2.

Add SIP Trunk in SalesFrank

Open Phone Numbers → Add Number → SIP Trunk in SalesFrank and enter the credentials from step 2:
  • SIP Host: sip.telnyx.com
  • Username: from your SIP Connection
  • Password: from your SIP Connection

Test the connection

After saving, the Telnyx number appears in your SalesFrank number list. Assign it to a test campaign and make a test call.

For optimal call quality with SalesFrank, we recommend the following settings in your Telnyx SIP Connection:

Common Issues

ProblemSolution
Registration failsCheck if IP whitelisting is enabled – add SalesFrank IPs or disable IP restrictions.
No outbound callsMake sure an Outbound Voice Profile is created in Telnyx and assigned to the connection.
Inbound calls not workingVerify the phone number is assigned to the correct SIP Connection.
